Caroline is crafting a new series based on her ongoing fascination with the beauty of horses. This series focuses on the movement and muscular structure of horses- making them visually analogous to dancers. These beautiful and powerful animals recall to us the movement of our own emotions and inspire us to personal power. The series uses lots of texture made by paper pressed onto the canvas with matte medium as a base- giving these paintings an almost cave-drawing like quality.
